Job Title: Approvals Manager

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Approvals Manager. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the long-term sustainability of our operations by developing and implementing regulatory approvals governance arrangements and project plans.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is passionate about environmental management and wants to make a meaningful contribution to a dynamic organization. You will have the chance to work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop approvals implementation plans for current and future approval projects.

In addition to your technical expertise, we are looking for someone with excellent communication and presentation skills, who can effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and contribute strategic inputs to our Long-Term Mine Plan and Long-Term Residue Plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regulatory approvals governance arrangements and project plans for Part IV and EPBC Act requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop approvals implementation plans for current and future approval projects.
  • Contribute approvals strategy inputs to the Long-Term Mine Plan and Long-Term Residue Plans.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or related discipline.
  • Substantial experience in environmental management, particularly in the Mining & Resources industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
