Job Description:

The Department of Health seeks a highly skilled and dedicated mental health professional to fill the position of Clinical Nurse Consultant - Regional Complex Care Coordinator.

This role involves providing high-level clinical coordination services, working within a multidisciplinary team environment, and delivering person-centered care to children and young people with complex mental health concerns.

As a key member of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Tasmania, you will be responsible for assessing individual needs, developing personalized plans, and collaborating with stakeholders to provide holistic support.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing specialist clinical coordination services to facilitate determined need
  • Undertaking high-level assessments and developing individualized plans
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to provide holistic support and promote positive outcomes
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver person-centered care
Requirements:
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
  • Specialist tertiary graduate or postgraduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification
  • Experience in complex case management, assessment, counseling, and/or therapy
  • Ability to work within a well-supported, diverse multidisciplinary team environment
