Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in designing outdoor metal cabinets and enclosures, electrical switchboard wiring layout, and cabinet hardware integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current product designs to improve manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, safety, and functionality.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure their requirements for new products are met and approval is received.
  • Collaborate closely with electrical design teams, production, customers, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration and timely release of new products and product changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of hands-on experience in design and manufacturing of mechanical equipment, including experience with electrical/electronic product designs.
  • Working knowledge of materials, finishing processes, and fabrication/assembly processes.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Solidworks 3D design for metal fabrication, as well as wiring diagram and circuit diagram experience in AutoCAD/Solidworks.
