Position Summary
The role of the Mechatronics Engineer is crucial in the design, development, implementation, and operation of intelligent automated systems within the truck trailer manufacturing framework. This position necessitates a comprehensive integration of mechanical, electronic, and computational disciplines to improve manufacturing workflows, product innovation, and overall functionality.
In this capacity, you will report to the Production and Project Engineering Manager and work collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams, senior leadership, and key external partners. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the installation, calibration, and testing of mechatronic systems and equipment, ensuring their reliability and performance through effective troubleshooting and optimization.
Staying abreast of the latest advancements in mechatronics technology is essential, as you will evaluate their relevance and potential application within the organization. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, manuals, and user guides, while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Robotics Engineering.
- Proven experience in mechatronics engineering, ideally within the automotive, transportation, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in CAD and other relevant software tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a creative and innovative mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
