Automation Systems Specialist

At E80 Group S.p.a., we are seeking a skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of complex systems at our client's plant in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities on equipment to ensure efficiency.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance plans.
  • Report on system performance and performed activities to the Customer and E80 Group.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship between the Customer and E80 Group based on trust, daily commitment, technical results, and equipment reliability.
  • Organize periodic meetings on E80 Group's system performance with the Customer's representatives.
  • Conduct periodic on-the-job training for the Customer's personnel.
  • Promote improvement activities, modifications, and extensions to the system or equipment, co-supervised by the Direct Manager and in agreement with the Area Manager.
  • Manage spare parts on-site, suggesting reorder points and purchases as needed.
  • Organize and manage the maintenance area, tools, and equipment available from E80 Group and/or the Customer.

Requirements:

  • Technical qualification in the electromechanical field or industrial automation.
  • Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
  • Previous experience as an electromechanical or transfer technician, electrician, or automation engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector.
  • Ability to perform electromechanical work at heights and in confined spaces after completing specific training.
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLC, Beckhoff, Fanuc, Allen Bradley, or Rockwell is not mandatory but will be considered a plus.
