Automation Tester Role

At Randstad Digital, we are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team in the Healthcare space. This is a permanent opportunity based in the CBD near Flagstaff Station.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the team in achieving sprint goals while adhering to Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to build a comprehensive understanding of systems and testing objectives.
  • Design, develop, execute, and analyse both manual and automated tests for sprint deliverables and regression testing.
  • Assist with the deployment of applications to production environments.
  • Quickly and concisely write clear bug reports and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct exploratory testing within an Agile framework.
  • Support deployment efforts and address production issues as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of test engineers.
  • Exhibit expertise in best practices for Quality Assurance in test design and execution, along with staying updated on the latest tools and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Over 7 years of experience in automation testing utilising tools like Specflow, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, and SOAP UI.
  • Proficient in writing feature files and creating step definitions in C#.
  • Experienced in both browser-based and API automation.
  • Extensive background in test automation for large-scale projects.
  • Capable of thriving in high-pressure environments with complex systems.
  • Strong understanding of testing processes within JIRA.
  • Familiar with Agile development methodologies.
  • Proficient in C#, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL.
  • Knowledgeable in CI/CD practices.
  • Experienced with source control systems.
  • Strong expertise in developing and designing automation frameworks.
