Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable solutions that meet the needs of our players.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technical improvements.
  • Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Mentor and coach teammates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to share technical expertise and facilitate informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering live or shipped products.
  • Expert proficiency in C++ and deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, concurrency).
  • Experience working on large-scale systems and contributing to architecture discussions.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write clear and maintainable code.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively across disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine and building games.
  • Familiarity with multiplayer frameworks, performance tooling, build pipelines, or telemetry.
  • Experience with version control systems like Perforce or Git.
