About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing mechanical scopes, reviewing vendor technical documentation, and interfacing with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. They will also possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise engineers and designers, estimate staffing needs, and develop schedules to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing machine package offers against specifications, scope of work, and other requirements.
  • Ensuring technical documentation submissions comply with package requirements and assisting with issue resolution.
  • Interfacing with engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction teams to coordinate project efforts.
  • Controlling mechanical scope and flagging scope changes as they arise.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and clients, to integrate activities and obtain approvals.
  • Planning, developing, and reviewing work within the mechanical discipline on the project.
  • Supervising day-to-day technical work of mechanical engineers and designers.
  • Estimating staffing needs and schedules to meet project deadlines.
