Retail Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Retail Procurement Specialist to support our furniture, homewares, and decor business.

As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies that drive product quality, timely delivery, and cost control.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the retail supply chain and design principles, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement furniture procurement plans in line with sales strategies and market trends.
  • Negotiate prices and manage the supply chain with suppliers to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
  • Analyse sales data and customer preferences to inform purchasing decisions and optimize inventory levels.
  • Monitor stock levels and forecast market demand to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent overstock or stock shortages.
  • Research industry trends to provide insights for purchasing and sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of retail supply chains and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with fluency in English and Chinese.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with outstanding organisational and time management abilities.
