Senior Custody Transitions Manager, Unit Pricing

This role involves overseeing complex custody transitions for the Unit Pricing business unit, ensuring seamless migration and integration of new global custodians, and delivering client-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the integration of new global custodians, collaborating with external service providers as needed.
- Oversee end-to-end testing and execution of system and process changes.
- Ensure appropriate governance levels are applied to all Unit Pricing implementation activities.
- Provide solution design to accommodate operational changes, managing dependencies and constraints.
- Ensure mitigations for execution and delivered risks are appropriate, considering risks that could result in unit price errors, costs of remediation, and operational delays.
- Manage pre-implementation account clean-up activities, including treatment of provisions, aged items, delisted assets, tax reclaims, and other residual balances.
- Work with internal business subject matter experts and external custodians to ensure transition plans and scopes reflect Unit Pricing function requirements.
- Assess, quantify, and document the impact of valuation methodology changes for complex assets such as syndicated loans.
- Approximately 10+ years of experience in Financial Services, with specific technical knowledge of Fund Accounting and Unit Pricing, Investment Administration & Custody Operations.
- Preferred 3+ years in a direct Implementation/Transition Management or similar role, with a proven track record.
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of asset instruments, including investment vehicles such as superannuation funds and managed investment schemes.
- Experience working within an APRA/ASIC regulated environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to remain confident and calm under pressure, with strong influencing and change management skills.
