About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Custody Transitions Manager to join our Unit Pricing team at IOOF Holdings Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful migration and integration of complex custody transitions for our Unit Pricing business unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the integration of a new global custodian, including liaising with external service providers as required.
  • Oversee the end-to-end testing and execution of system and process changes.
  • Ensure appropriate levels of governance are applied to all Unit Pricing implementation activities.
  • Develop solution designs to accommodate operational changes, including managing dependencies and constraints.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with execution and delivery, ensuring that all relevant risks have been considered.
  • Manage pre-implementation account clean-up activities, including treatment of provisions, aged items, delisted assets, tax reclaims, and other residual balances.
  • Collaborate with internal business subject matter experts and the external custodian to ensure that the transition plan and scope reflect the requirements pertaining to the Unit Pricing function.
  • Assess, quantify, and document the impact of valuation methodology changes for complex assets such as syndicated loans.
Requirements
  • Approximately 10+ years of experience in Financial Services, with specific technical knowledge of Fund Accounting and Unit Pricing, Investment Administration & Custody Operations.
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience in a direct Implementation/Transition Management or similar role, with a proven track record.
  • Demonstrated understanding of asset instruments, including investment vehicles such as superannuation funds and managed investment schemes.
  • Experience working within an APRA/ASIC regulated environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to remain confident and calm under pressure, with strong influencing and change management skills.
