Job Description

This position is a key leadership role within our organization, responsible for guiding strategic direction and ensuring effective governance.

As a Director on our Board, you will work closely with the leadership team to achieve our mission of enabling young people to achieve their best future imaginable.

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, strong leadership skills, and a wide range of skills, experience, and attributes necessary to govern effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attending quarterly Board Meetings
  • Leading strategic direction and ensuring alignment with our mission
  • Fostering a culture of kindness, courage, and consideration
  • Supporting and mentoring the leadership team
  • Ensuring legal compliance and achieving governance requirements
Requirements
  • Strategic vision and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • AICD or equivalent qualification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong understanding of governance and fiduciary responsibilities
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Business acumen with exposure to compliance, governance, and risk management
