Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Finance Modernisation Program, you will play a crucial role in supporting the transition from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud using a Greenfield approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Reviews and Analysis: Conduct thorough process reviews, gather business requirements, and develop plans using best practice business analysis methodologies and approaches.
  • Business Transition and Improvement: Provide analysis and options to address identified business transition or improvement initiatives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process Changes and Development: Review and support process changes developed or proposed as part of business transition or improvement activities, working with subject matter experts in a collaborative approach.
  • Solution Delivery: Analyse business requirements and ensure they are translated into solutions that meet business needs and deliver value to customers.
  • Collaboration and Advice: Collaborate with analysts, solution architects, and subject matter experts to contribute to work packages for business change or transition activities and assist with addressing issues and risks identified.
  • Expertise and Documentation: Provide expert advice and develop briefs and documentation for the delivery of business transition or business improvement activities for managed systems and services.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Assist test analysts to complete system, integration, and user acceptance testing, along with defect logging, prioritisation, and management within established frameworks, standards, methodologies, and policies.
Program Overview

The Finance Modernisation Program is a partnership between Queensland Shared Services (QSS) and 21 client agencies, aiming to move towards standardised finance processes and embracing new ways of working. This program focuses on providing modern services that can be consumed simply, easily, and conveniently through customer self-service.
