Business Growth Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Growth Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in acquiring new customers by collaborating with key partners.
- You will identify high-potential prospects using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and insights from the lead generation team.
- You will guide and support partners to showcase Optus' value effectively, develop strategic account plans, and deliver consistent results.
- You will translate technical solutions and capabilities into business value, helping mid-market customers make informed investment decisions.
- You will ensure a smooth handover to account managers and other internal collaborators, building trust and continuity from initial interaction to sustained commitment.
- You will leverage Optus' hospitality experiences, executive sponsors, and technical experts to create compelling sales motions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, ICT, or a related field; an MBA or sales/tech certifications is preferred.
- 10 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with a proven track record in complex solution selling and partner co-selling.
- Demonstrable telco industry experience is essential.
- Proficient knowledge of ICT solutions (mobile, fixed, cloud, data) and mid-market customer requirements.
- Skilled in identifying customer needs and positioning complex ICT and whole-of-business solutions.
- Confident in engaging C-level executives and building trusted, long-term relationships.
