We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Experience Supervisor to join our team at Marriott Hotels. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process night audit and nightly reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitor hotel security to ensure the safety and security of our guests and staff
- Supervise the front office team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery
- Be an expert on the hotel and its surroundings, providing guests with insider knowledge and recommendations
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
- Handle general inquiries and resolve guest issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Build and maintain relationships with guests, encouraging repeat business and positive word-of-mouth
- Take guest reservations and manage cash handling and credit card responsibilities
- Oversee service standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance the guest experience
- Plan and execute team-building activities to foster a positive and inclusive team culture
- Empower and support your team to deliver exceptional service and achieve their full potential
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience working in a similar supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with property management systems, such as OPERA
- Relevant certifications or training in hospitality management or a related field
