We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Science learning area as Head of Learning Area (HoLA) - Science. The successful candidate will drive collaboration, capacity building, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning aligned with our pedagogical framework.


">Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and support a developing Science team, focusing on capacity building, professional growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  2. Promote evidence-based best practice in teaching and learning; use data to inform planning and target interventions to improve student outcomes.
  3. Contribute to whole-school initiatives, promote wellbeing, and foster partnerships within the community and beyond.
  4. Lead change and innovation; analyse performance data related to the Science learning area.
  5. Develop and guide curriculum leadership within your team to ensure quality teaching for all students.

">Eligibility Criteria:
  • Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
  • Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting.
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
