Job Overview

A Mechanical Process Engineer position is available at our Sydney headquarters.

About the Role

This role involves collaborating with a diverse group of people to develop stable and reliable manufacturing processes, supporting supply chain or manufacturing improvement projects, or ensuring we have the capabilities to manufacture increasing volumes.

You will work on developing and implementing safe, scalable, stable and robust manufacturing processes across the manufacturing network for new and commercially available products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining manufacturing processes within the company and its suppliers.
  • Supporting project execution by developing and implementing safe, scalable, stable and robust manufacturing processes.
  • Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with quality management systems and international regulations.
  • Meeting manufacturing strategy objectives by relocating/duplicating processes across the manufacturing network.
  • Delivering complex processes in line with project objectives, targets and timelines.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Biomedical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Preferably experience in a similar engineering role within a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience in process development or mechanical design.
  • Experience in introducing manufacturing processes and products internally or externally.
  • Experience in risk management methodology.
  • Experience in validation and verification of manufacturing processes.
