Poultry Administration Support Role

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging opportunity in the agricultural sector? We are seeking a proactive Poultry Administration Support to join our team in Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating daily tasks, managing confidential documents, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.

This position involves providing administrative support including calendar management, scheduling, travel, and task coordination. You will also act as the first point of contact for our Poultry Manager with internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include preparing and managing correspondence, reports, presentations, and confidential documents. Additionally, you will plan, schedule, and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, including agendas and minutes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support including calendar management, scheduling, travel, and task coordination.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Poultry Manager with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and confidential documents.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, including agendas and minutes.
  • Assist with poultry bird movements, ensuring compliance with biosecurity and welfare standards.
  • Support the review and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an individual with 3–5 years' experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably in the agriculture industry. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and high attention to detail are also required.
