Job Title: Poultry Farm Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to work as a Poultry Farm Assistant in our Yannathan facility.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the poultry farm, including but not limited to:

  • Floor walking
  • Handling live and dead chickens
  • Drinking and feeder adjustments
  • Cleaning and hygiene
  • Whipper snipping and weeding
  • Record keeping

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A current driver's license
  • Not own any poultry, birds or pigs
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the job
  • Show great attention to detail and take pride in their work
  • Have excellent communication skills
Benefits:

As a Poultry Farm Assistant, you will receive:

  • $26.53 per hour
  • $15.00 per day travel allowance if you live more than 30kms from site
  • Good site morale & strong OH&S practices
  • Permanent contracts available for the right workers after 3 months casual
Rotating Roster:

This is a rotating 7-day roster that will see you work up to 6 days per week, including one weekend day.
