Poultry Farm Management Opportunity

Managing daily operations within a tunnel ventilated broiler bird farm is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills and a focus on cost effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of staff to ensure optimal farm performance.

  • Staff management and supervision
  • Liaising with external partners to maintain positive relationships
  • Implementing shed management techniques to optimize bird growing requirements
  • Maintaining high standards of farm presentation
  • Ensuring compliance with bio-security, health and safety, environmental, and animal welfare procedures

To succeed in this position, you'll need at least two years' experience in managing broiler and/or breeder farms. Strong leadership skills, including staff management, are essential. A high level of quality in your work is expected.

In addition to these duties, we're looking for someone with:

  • A background in poultry farming and industry knowledge
  • Basic computer skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Effective communication skills, both written and spoken
