Senior Insurance Claims Manager

A leading global provider of risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and human resource solutions seeks an experienced Senior Insurance Claims Manager to join their Global Risk Consulting team in Melbourne.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing claim preparation engagements, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing existing client relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing claim preparation engagements, including scoping work, preparing project plans, and resourcing engagements within budget
- Delivering all elements of the project plan and/or engagement letter within promised time frames
- Managing expectations of stakeholders to successfully prepare and settle insurance claims
- Developing internal and external networks and leveraging such networks to win claim preparation engagements
- Increasing the profile of the organization through high-level relationship building, thought leadership, whitepapers, and presentations
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience working with a Professional Services or Loss Adjusting firm, demonstrated leadership skills, ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, proficiency in proposal preparation and presentation, deep expertise in large and complex property and business interruption claims, and a proven track record in developing new business and staff.
