Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Council's Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
  • Lead health, safety, and wellness risk management by overseeing audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
  • Provide support, advice, and training to workers on health and safety related responsibilities and foster a positive culture of physical and mental wellness.
  • Coordinate health, safety, and wellness related incident reporting and investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
