Workplace Health and Safety Specialist
">We are seeking an experienced Workplace Health and Safety Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving the Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement and continuously improve the WHSMS, ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards and emerging health, safety and wellness risks and opportunities.
- Lead health, safety and wellness risk management by overseeing audits, inspections, risk assessments and corrective actions.
- Provide support, advice and training to workers in relation to health and safety related responsibilities, including fostering a positive culture of physical and mental wellness.
- Coordinate health, safety and wellness related incident reporting and investigations, ensuring root cause analysis, corrective actions and compliance with relevant reporting requirements.
- Monitor health, safety and wellness performance through data analysis, trend identification and regular reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
