We are seeking a seasoned data platform professional to spearhead the design, development, and optimisation of our enterprise data platform. This pivotal role requires expertise in leading cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions that drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms using modern technologies such as event-driven and batch data-based ingestion and pipelines, data visualisation & reporting, data governance, and collaboration with data architects, analysts, and engineers.
- Lead the adoption of automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI / CD pipelines to streamline development processes.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all data systems through effective monitoring and incident response strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence within the team.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities and lead the integration process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a data engineering-related role for senior-level candidates.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in modern data platform engineering, including hands-on experience with end-to-end data platform design and implementation.
- Experience with automation, GitHub, PR process, CI / CD pipeline, and code/release management.
- Proficiency in public and private cloud, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Expertise in streaming technologies, ETL/ELT data pipelines, database technologies, data lake storage, data analytics, and reporting.
- Knowledge of AI/MCP is an advantage but not required.
