Customer Service Delivery Specialist

At Knauf, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade Store Operator Driver to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through daily site deliveries, meeting strict deadlines in a schedule driven environment.
This hands-on role requires the ability to work independently but also as part of a high performing team. The ideal candidate must be reliable, adaptable, and physically fit.
Responsibilities:
- Unload materials off truck while maintaining good manual handling techniques
- Receive and forward customer complaints regarding product and / or service via complaint and customer procedures
- Maintain inventory levels to satisfy customer requirements and market demand
- Provide customers with prompt delivery of goods
- Manage transport resources to maintain efficient service to customers
- Perform administrative duties as required by management
Requirements:
- HR license (mandatory)
- Forklift license (beneficial)
- Good understanding of Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Competent in load restraint
- Builds and sustains positive relationships with team members and customers
- Good communication skills
- Shows commitment to get the job done accurately and timely
- Previous experience as a delivery truck in a busy environment
- Physically capable to fulfill the demands of lifting plasterboard product and accessories
- Team player but self-motivated and able to work autonomously
