We are seeking a skilled Clinical Coder to join our team in delivering quality clinical coding services. As a Clinical Coder, you will be responsible for abstracting relevant information from patient records, assigning accurate ICD-10-AM and ACHI codes, and performing Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) grouping.

You will work closely with clinicians to clarify documentation and support code assignment. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will enable you to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Abstract relevant information from patient records
  • Assign accurate ICD-10-AM and ACHI codes
  • Perform Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) grouping
  • Initiate clinical documentation queries as required
Requirements:
  • Nationally recognised certificate in ICD-10-AM Coding and Classification
  • Successful completion of the IHACPA ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS 13th Edition Education
  • Experience in coding using ICD-10-AM, ACHI & ACS
  • Experience using 3M Codefinder & Turbocoder
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
