Contracts Administrator Role

The Opportunity:
As a key member of our Commercial team, you will play a critical role working directly for the principal contractor. Your primary focus will be on ensuring all contractual requirements are achieved and obligations met.
This includes:
- Liaison with Procurement in the development of contractual documentation
- Maintaining accurate contracts records and documentation
- Monitoring contract compliance and tracking contract deliverables
- Assisting in the management of budgets and forecasting
- Preparing Contracts Administration Plan summaries to enable the project team to manage contractors in accordance with agreed terms and conditions
- Working with Project Managers and the Commercial Manager to oversee contractor claims and certification of payments
- Preparing Commercial correspondence and maintaining contractual registers
- Supporting the procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring timely and accurate vendor interactions
What you will bring to the team:
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Business/Commerce, Law, or related field
- Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator, especially in civil and commercial construction environments
- Strong knowledge and exposure to Contract Law
- Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong skills in Adobe Pro and a good understanding of document control
- Experience in SAP, Sharepoint, Aconex, Asite, Commnia, or similar tools are an advantage
