Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Yass. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care and support to our clients, enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to clients with disabilities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • 6-12 months minimum experience as a Support Worker.
  • Relevant qualification in disability support or a related field.
  • Manual Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain).
  • Medication Administration Certificate (or willing to obtain).
  • WWVP card/NDIS Worker Clearance (within 5 years).
  • National Police Check (within 12 months).
  • Current First Aid & CPR.
  • Driver's License & own vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • AUSLAN Training and fluency highly desirable (not essential).
