About this role

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our organisation's decarbonisation journey by ensuring robust financial discipline and transparency across projects that enable the transition to green energy and low-carbon operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implement cost management systems and processes to ensure a consistent approach to project cost control, budget tracking, forecasting, cash flow, and performance analysis.
  2. Manage project cost and progress reporting process to provide consistent, accurate, and timely reporting to the project management team.
  3. Apply the standard project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to ensure all systems, processes, and reporting reflect the standard approach on the project.
  4. Support contracting and procurement team with project contracts, purchase requisition/order, and project payment certificates review.
  5. Validate site contractor's claims, reported progress, and verify contractor invoices.
  6. Monitor and audit cost management system and SAP to ensure accuracy between the two systems and escalate to management any significant variances.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Commerce/Finance.
  • Project management or an internationally accredited project controls certification.
  • At least 8 years project control experience, preferably including international elements or interfaces on Major and/or Mega Projects.
