Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our team in Perth. As a key member of the Project Administration team, you will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance on cost management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed cost reports, including risk analysis, commitment tracking, and expenditure monitoring.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and implement effective budgeting strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support and guide project stakeholders on key performance indicators and reporting requirements.
  • Manage external contractor and supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance and value.
  • Maintain and develop strong networks with clients and suppliers through collaborative relationships.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial administration, with a high degree of technical and organizational complexity.
  • Experience in a commercial environment and/or change management role within an industrial services organization or mining/oil and gas sector.
  • An accounting or business administration qualification.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in cost control practices, standards, systems, and processes relevant to the operations of the project.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
