Rainbow Goats Farm is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic animal care professional to join our team as a Goat Farm Hand. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have experience working with animals, particularly goats.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our herd of goats, including feeding, checking for parasites, and ensuring the overall well-being of the animals. You will also be required to maintain the cleanliness of the baby goat area and equipment, check on the adult herd, and perform general farm duties as needed.

To succeed in this position, you must possess strong animal handling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should have a passion for working outdoors, regardless of the weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with livestock, preferably goats, and possess a strong understanding of safe work practices. A driver's license is also highly desirable.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $26.72 per hour, paid according to the Pastoral Award 2020, Farm and Livestock Hand Level 1. As a casual employee, you can expect to work approximately 12 hours per week, with shifts typically taking place on weekdays and weekends.
