About the Role:

We are seeking a livestock career professional to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a key member of our unit, you will be responsible for daily observation and health management of livestock, ensuring animal wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily observation and health management of livestock
  • Livestock care and husbandry
  • Stable maintenance and cleaning
  • Manual handling of animals in the feedlot
  • Receiving and exiting cattle, including vaccination, ear tagging and drenching in accordance with relevant protocols

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong commitment to animal health and wellbeing
  • Excellent horsemanship and riding capabilities
  • The ability to provide at least one horse, maximum of two plus tack
  • A commitment to safety and zero harm policy
  • Proven problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • An understanding of animal nutrition and previous feedlot experience would be highly regarded
