Livestock Professional Development Opportunity

This is an accelerated learning opportunity to kick-start your career in the Livestock industry, with professional networking opportunities across the business.

Program Overview:

The Livestock Career Development Program is a comprehensive development program that will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and experience required to be a future leader or technical expert within the Livestock industry.

During the 24-month program, participants will participate in four leadership and skill-building workshops, receive on-the-ground training, and have mentors assigned to provide ongoing support.

You'll work in both saleyard and branch environments, learning effective selling and relationship-building techniques under the guidance of experienced livestock employees and leaders.

This program provides hands-on experience in next-generation stock and station agency skills, livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, auctions, wool technical and market requirements, and emerging technology.

You'll gain business skills including compliance, sales, client relationship building, communication, marketing and social media, understanding finance, problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership.
