About This Role

On behalf of our client - Woodside Energy, Brunel is currently sourcing a Finance Business Partner to support the North West Shelf Gas, Non-Operator assets, and FPSOs. This will be a contract to cover for parental leave, located at the Perth CBD office.

  • Support business activities by providing routine and non-routine analysis that underpins financial recommendations/outcomes
  • Prepare and present Management Reports including Analysis & Commentary on monthly financial performance against budget and forecast for internal and JV stakeholders
  • Coordinate the annual enterprise plan and quarterly forecasting processes and provide analysis to support internal and JV approvals as appropriate
  • Be a key focal point for cost saving initiatives in line with the Finance roles within the VIP / Performance Edge process
  • Support business requirements including reviewing business proposals and AFEs
  • Prepare approvals, contracts reviews and guidance on Company MOAs
  • Provide accounting guidance to the business including compliance with relevant accounting standards and expenditure approval processes
  • Assist in developing and implementing financial business process improvements
  • Work collaboratively with other Finance Teams and business stakeholders to drive financial performance and deliver insights by understanding costs and value drivers
