Administrative Team Lead Role

We are seeking an experienced supervisor to lead our internal administrative services and professional patient experiences.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Streamline administration workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Develop new procedures, checklists, templates, and forms to support the team.
  • Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Design and deliver role-based Induction Training Programs.
  • Plan, publish, and coordinate changes to rosters and backfill roles as needed.
  • Oversee team administrative activities, provide support, and resolve issues.
  • Coach and develop the skills, knowledge, and abilities of team members.
  • Act as administrative liaison for medical professionals.
  • Maintain up-to-date IT systems and report administrative data.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Experience streamlining administration and developing procedures.
  • A strong understanding of medical protocols, practices, and terminology.
  • Excellent knowledge of patient experience principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with billing and claims processes, as well as item numbers.
  • A sound understanding of the Privacy Act and its application to medical records.
  • Knowledge of employment, WHS, and relevant legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and Flowcharter.
  • Experience working with medical software and patient management systems.

Education and Certifications

You must hold:

  • Certificate IV (or higher) in Business Administration, Health Administration, or Management.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent experience.
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
