System Architect Role Overview

The System Architect will be responsible for developing and maintaining Pega applications. This includes level 3 troubleshooting of applications, focusing on technical implementation and ensuring solutions meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Pega applications according to specifications
  • Provide level 3 technical support of Pega built applications and implement fixes
  • Modify workflows, data models, and user interfaces
  • Design and execute test cases to validate functionality
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Document technical designs and implementation approaches
  • Collaborate with Business Architects to understand requirements
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to address technical issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Agile environments and case management
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Able to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Testing and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence effectively and concisely to audiences with a range of backgrounds
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Current or eligibility for Baseline Security Clearance through AGSVA - Must be an Australian Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in Programming, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Background in software development or technical implementation
  • Experience with multiple Pega projects or implementations
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Experience working in the government/public sector
