Job Overview

Our organization offers mental health assessment and clinical counselling services for Australian veterans and their families.

The successful applicant will work in multidisciplinary teams to provide mental health and wellbeing support to Veterans and their immediate families, promoting optimal care outcomes.

  • Deliver high-quality clinical services, including risk assessment, intervention, referral, and case management, ensuring clients receive holistic support.
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients on counselling progress and establish additional needs, tailoring the service to meet individual requirements.
  • Maintain confidential files using a secure Client Management System, documenting session progress notes and care plans.
  • Engage in Continuing Professional Development activities, including clinical supervision, to maintain professional registration and enhance expertise.
  • Liaise with Assistant Directors, other Clinicians, and treatment providers to coordinate care, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
Key Requirements
  • Hold a valid Working with Vulnerable People registration or a Working with Children check.
  • Be qualified as a registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration, Social Worker with membership of the Australian Association Social Workers (AASW), or hold a Masters-level counselling qualification and registration with PACFA or ACA.
