Production Team Leader Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of sustainable water solutions, is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to oversee their production line.

As a global leader in the industry, our client delivers a comprehensive range of smart, sustainable water solutions to homes, businesses, and industry around the world. They provide solutions that enable people, businesses, and industry to access clean, safe water, reduce water consumption, and recover and reuse it.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in the safe production and assembly of various components and products. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global leader on a permanent basis, with the role based in Milperra and hours of Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Undertaking supervision and leading hand tasks
  • Ensuring that appropriate training is carried out for all team members
  • Ensuring that all parts and products are assembled/produced according to procedures and specifications
  • Ensuring that all safety and quality procedures and standards associated with the task are adhered to in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Actively participating in and driving continuous improvement activities
  • Ensuring production efficiency and daily output is in accordance with production schedules
  • Maintaining 5S standards at all times
  • Developing and maintaining contingency plans to ensure minimal disruption of business operations
  • Ensuring all stock transactions are recorded and production order material quantities are correct to ensure inventory accuracy
