Job Title: Production Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to oversee the production line at our client, a leading provider of sustainable water solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in the safe production and assembly of various components and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake supervision and leading hand tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the production line.
  • Ensure that all team members receive appropriate training to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Verify that all parts and products are assembled/produced according to procedures and specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures and standards associated with the task, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and drive continuous improvement activities to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor and maintain 5S standards at all times.
  • Develop and maintain contingency plans to minimize disruption to business operations.
  • Ensure accurate recording of stock transactions and production order material quantities to maintain inventory accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work safely and protect others from risk.
  • Keen attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address potential issues.
  • High safety focus, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ability to be efficient and well-organized, with a focus on meeting production targets and deadlines.
  • Passion for creating and promoting a positive workplace culture.
