Catholic Pastoral Care Team Leader

Loreto Normanhurst, a leading independent Catholic girls' school for Years 5-12, is seeking an experienced Boarding Coordinator to lead our pastoral care team.
This permanent part-time role involves working Wednesday to Saturday with sleepovers required. As a leader in boarders' well-being and growth, you will implement programs and activities to develop and enhance the lives of teenage girls.
Key Responsibilities:
- SUPVISE AND CARE FOR TEENAGE GIRLS
- IMPLEMENT PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE BOARDERS' WELL-BEING AND GROWTH
- CULTIVATE A POSITIVE AND SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY IN THE BOARDING SCHOOL
Requirements:
- PERSONAL MATURITY, TEAMWORK AND EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS WITH STAFF, PARENTS AND STUDENTS
- VALID DRIVER'S LICENCE AND CURRENT CPR, FIRST AID AND DUTY OF CARE CERTIFICATES (OR WILLINGNESS TO OBTAIN)
- ABILITY TO WORK COLLABORATIVELY IN THE TEAM WITH AN ADAPTABLE AND PROACTIVE APPROACH TO DUTIES
The ideal candidate has experience as a social worker or teacher looking for a change. They are committed to actively supporting the Catholic ethos of the school and have a strong understanding of adolescent development and education.
