Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Manager to lead our business operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving our growth and success.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify and prioritize business needs and priorities.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance wellbeing and staff retention.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Provide documentation support, process improvements, and financial insights for the business.
  • Responsible for the administration of the business unit.
  • Support the development of presentations for senior management, including staff updates and management reports.
  • Assist with budgeting, auditing, training, and project coordination.
  • Coordinate new joiner/leaver processes with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage office operations, including coordination with IT, Security, Facilities, and Accounts Payable.
  • Handle internal and external communications, such as speeches, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Act as Health and Safety representative for the organization.
  • Document and follow up on HRM and staff meetings.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining business processes and procedures.
  • ISO9001 experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in HR business support.
  • Experience in a technological service business is a plus.
  • Ability to lead complex assignments and work comfortably with ambiguity.
  • Analytical skills to identify and remove roadblocks and solve complex problems.
  • Demonstrated capability to influence and play a lead role.
  • Interpersonal skills and people management.
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to coordinate business development research.
  • Effectiveness in time management and the organization of staff.
  • Knowledge of defence security requirements and eligibility for government security clearances.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in business, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 Years' experience.
