Our client, a leading manufacturing business in the Australian market, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to support their financial operations. This newly created role has been established due to the company's significant growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process, code, and match supplier invoices with associated paperwork for timely payment.
  • Seek approval for invoices and input into the enterprise resource planning (ERP) accounting system for seamless reconciliation.
  • Process electronic funds transfer (EFT) and BPAY payments daily for efficient financial management.
  • Manage reconciliations of invoices/supplier statements for accurate financial reporting.

The successful candidate will provide cover for accounts receivable and support the payroll officer as needed, ensuring continuity in financial operations.

Requirements
  • Ability to process high volumes of invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective relationships and collaboration.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of word processing, email, and other productivity tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines, meeting expectations and delivering results.
