We are seeking a Security Specialist to implement all aspects of protective security ensuring compliance with program, contractual, regulatory and company security requirements.

This role will involve maintaining and facilitating the DISP requirements by maintaining security accreditations, management of security clearances, facilitating awareness training and managing access control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement all aspects of protective security
  • Maintain and facilitate DISP requirements
  • Manage security clearances and accreditations
  • Facilitate awareness training
  • Manage access control

The ideal candidate will have experience in Australian Government Security and be able to interpret Defence policy documents. A Cert IV in Security (or equivalent) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a multi-disciplinary team are also required.

Requirements:
  • Cert IV in Security (or equivalent)
  • Australian Government Security experience
  • Ability to interpret Defence policy documents
  • Effective communication skills
  • Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
