Role Summary

  • We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of design in structural engineering, including technical design and documentation through to completion on site.
  2. They will prepare design sketches and details for drafting by technical staff and oversee the design development and documentation.
  3. Site inspections will also be an important part of the role, particularly in operating Department of Defence facilities.
  4. Additionally, the successful candidate will practice safety in project design and delivery, supported by quality checking and verification activities.
  5. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders is also crucial.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant industry experience in a consulting environment with 5-10 years' experience.
  • Strong communication and liaison abilities to engage with clients and other engineers.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently within a busy client-focused team.
  • Strong practical understanding, proactive high-level thinking and high attention to detail.
  • Local Brisbane and QLD project experience will be highly regarded.
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent is essential. CPEng or Chartered status is preferred but not essential.
