Job Title: Statutory Review Officer
This role involves monitoring and reporting on the operation and administration of the Mandatory Disease Testing Unit (MDT) Act. The successful candidate will be responsible for high level research and analysis of issues arising from monitoring, providing strategic advice to senior staff while developing and maintaining relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
The key responsibilities include:
- Managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements;
- Monitoring agency response to recommendations stemming from their monitoring under the MDT Act;
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve the administration and delivery of public and community services in NSW.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Experience in statutory reviews, royal commissions or as a policy officer;
- Excellent report writing skills;
- Excellent research skills;
In return, you can expect:
- Grade level 9/10;
- Hourly rate between $65-$75 + super;
- Located in Sydney CBD with hybrid working arrangements;
- 6 month assignment.
