As a seasoned cybersecurity professional, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets. This challenging position requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.

Job Overview

In this role, you will work closely with senior cybersecurity engineers to implement robust security measures, detect and respond to potential threats, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth while minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure architectures for applications and systems
  • Analyze logs and system data to identify vulnerabilities and potential breaches
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans to ensure timely and effective resolution of security incidents
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT or cybersecurity
  • Strong understanding of current key business technologies and concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools
  • Knowledge/experience in Microsoft 365, Azure Security Centre, Azure, and/or AWS, with relevant security best practices on these platforms
Bonus Points:

If you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a traditional Managed Services Provider
  • Strong understanding of current key business technologies and concepts, demonstrated through previous customer or referee references
  • Hands-on experience managing and maintaining SIEM tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, and vulnerability management tools like Tenable and Nessus
  • Windows support and troubleshooting experience – Windows 7-11
  • Networking fundamentals knowledge; CCNA or equivalent preferred
  • Windows Server management (2008 to 2022)
