Senior Technical Program Manager, Cloud Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team at myGwork - LGBTQ+ Business Community, a leading organization in the industry. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering large-scale programs for our cloud services, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Program Management: Manage high-profile programs across multiple supporting teams to deliver successful outcomes for our customers and the organization.
- Risk Management: Anticipate bottlenecks, proactively seek solutions to problems, and provide escalation management and tradeoff decisions that benefit the program.
- Communication: Earn trust through regular communication with senior management on program status and risks, demonstrating the ability to synthesize the problems and the solutions into a simple and consumable manner.
- Influence and Leadership: Rely heavily on influence over authority to drive project deliverables, and own the metrics for project success.
- Operational Excellence: Develop, improve, and share operational best practices across the region and with peers globally, and demonstrate ownership to help improve the safety, security, and availability of our region operations.
- Mentorship and Development: Mentor, train, and develop career progression for indirect reports and members of the organization, and obsess over team learning and development.
The Region Services team is responsible for redefining the way we design, build, and operate AWS regions to enable new AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Services offerings to customers across every industry and of every size.
Requirements- Technical Product or Program Management Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management, with a strong understanding of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to author documents and narratives, and present in executive-level meetings.
- Cloud Experience: 5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams, and advanced professional certifications in management of complex, high-value technical projects.
