About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Career and Family Consultant. As a dedicated professional, you will be working closely with eligible parents who are seeking to return to work, providing them with person-centered case management and support throughout their journey.

Our service is delivered in a welcoming and child-friendly environment that encourages participation and accommodates the needs of participants.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centered case management to eligible parents, guiding them through assessments and formulating interventions to support their journey into employment
  • Foster partnerships with specialist services and community organizations to provide participants with access to resources and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for participants
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong assessment and motivational skills, enabling you to effectively engage with participants and understand their unique needs
  • Experience in providing person-centered case management and working with diverse populations, allowing you to adapt to different situations and challenges
  • Strong knowledge of industry labor markets and employers, helping you to identify opportunities and provide relevant guidance to participants
  • Excellent writing and computer skills, ensuring you can maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Requirements
  • Hold a full driver's license and be willing to travel throughout the region, visiting participants and accessing community resources
  • Current Working with Children's Check, demonstrating your commitment to participant safety and well-being
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Community/Employment Services/Early Childhood or related area, reflecting your expertise and passion for the field
