Australia-Based People Operations Leader

About this role, we're looking for a strategic leader to oversee People Operations across our Australia-based team.
As the key partner to our AU leadership and global People team, you'll support leaders and team members through growth and change, shape and implement local People systems, and build a strong, people-first foundation that reflects both Australian requirements and our values.
This role requires a hands-on and strategic approach, ideal for someone who can move fluidly between advising, designing, and doing.
The JobWe're seeking an experienced professional to drive business outcomes through effective People strategies and org design.
You'll serve as a consultative partner to AU leadership and global People team, translating business needs into thoughtful people strategies and org design.
Key responsibilities include coaching managers on team dynamics, growth, and performance conversations, building trust and communication across AU and global teams, and driving business outcomes through effective People strategies and org design.
Requirements5-7 years of experience in People, HR, or People Ops, with a background in employee relations, policies, and compliance in Australia.
Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
Experience working across global teams or in a matrixed org.
