Ministerial Support Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ministerial Support Officer to join our Federal Government client on a contract for 12 months.

  • Proofread and edit ministerial correspondence, submissions, and briefs to ensure they meet high standards of quality, style, preferences, and content.
  • Maintain quality assurance processes and communicate feedback to drafting and clearing officers.
  • Coordinate Community of Practices to build capability and stakeholder confidence with ministerial and parliamentary practices.
  • Contribute to reports and portfolio responses across the Agency.
  • Draft and quality check Briefs, Ministerial Correspondence, Questions on Notice, and Senate Briefs using the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS).

  • Independence in decision making.

  • Australian Citizenship.
About the Role
